<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This editorial outlines the rationale for requiring authors to provide an institutional email address when submitting a manuscript to a scholarly journal. It highlights the role of institutional emails in verifying authorship and affiliation, enhancing the transparency of the editorial process, and fostering greater trust in published research. While the editorial acknowledges that exceptions may apply in certain cases, it emphasizes that the use of a verified institutional address is a mandatory requirement for authors formally affiliated with academic or research institutions.</p><p> </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>верификация авторства</kwd><kwd>корпоративный email</kwd><kwd>аффилиация автора</kwd><kwd>научная добросовестность</kwd><kwd>идентификация исследователя</kwd><kwd>редакционная политика</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>authorship verification</kwd><kwd>institutional email</kwd><kwd>author affiliation</kwd><kwd>research integrity</kwd><kwd>researcher identification</kwd><kwd>editorial policy</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Тихонова, Е.В., &amp; Косычева, М.А.
